Panch Pokhari Trekking means the group of five holy ponds/lakes. It is situated to the northeast of Kathmandu valley and west of Rolwaling Himal. It is a holy sacred lake for Hindus and Buddhists with five holy ponds at the height of 4100 m. The trek to Panch Pokhari at the base of Jungle Himal offers pristine mountain views, rich culture, and genuine adventure. This Panch Pokhari Trekking offers a combination of rich cultural heritage, unsurpassed beauty, and biological diversity as you trek to a group of high-altitude holy lakes.
Panch Pokhari trekking will start out of the Valley and up through the hills. After 5 hours bus ride we arrive at the trek starting point called Chautara. We are going to spend the first night of our outdoor adventure right nearby a small town on the ground. Our Guide gives a short lesson on trekking on the first night. He also explains about altitude sickness and all the beautiful spots from where you can see an excellent view of mountains.
