Naya Khang Peak Climbing is situated in the Langtang valley. Nayakhang is a shapely mountain that rises to the west of Ganjala pass. The Naya khanga peak is almost 30 km away from Kathmandu valley. Hence it is the nearest and can be reached by bus up to Dhunche and then start trekking to Naya Khang Base Camp. Naya Khang Peak Climbing (5,800 m) is one of the less climbed trekking peaks and does not require the technical experience. However, a good level of fitness will increase the climbers’ chances of success.

There will be a team of Climbing Sherpas to guide and assist the group as necessary and porters to manage the equipment and supplies. We climb this mountain, establishing a high camp, and then follow its northwest ridge to the summit. Great views of Jugal and Langtang Himal await us on the summit. This route offers little technical climbing but involves some steep snow and ice slopes.

Itinerary of Naya Khang Peak Climbing

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu and transfer to the hotel.
Day 02: Sightseeing in Kathmandu Valley.
Day 03: Drive from Kathmandu to Dhunche (1966m.)
Day 04: Trek from Dhunche to Syabru Gaon (2581m.)
Day 05: Trek from Lama Hotel to Langtang village (3430m.)
Day 06: Trek from Langtang Village to Kyangjin (3870m.)
Day 07: Rest day at Kyangjin Gompa and excursion in and around.
Day 08: Trek from Kyangjin Gompa to Nyengang Kharka (4430m.)
Day 9: Trek from Nyengang Kharka to Naya Kang High Camp (4960m.)
Day 10: Rest at Naya Kang High Camp.
Day 11: Summit Naya Kang peak and climb back to Nyengang Kharka and it takes about ten hours.
Day 12: Trek from Nyengang Kharka to Kyangjin Gompa which takes about four hours.
Day 13: Trek from Kyangjin Gompa to Lama Hotel and it takes about six hours.
Day 14: Trek from Lama Hotel to Syabru Besi via Sherpa Gaon which takes about five hours.
Day 15: Drive from Syabru Besi to Kathmandu by bus, which takes about nine hours.
