Trishuli is the most easily accessible river which can be reached from Pokhara, Kathmandu, and Chitwan. The river is surrounded by beautiful sceneries made up of lush hills and countryside villages. It will be best suited for those having a limited period as it is a short rafting trip. The beautiful views of the small gorges and the cable cars going to Manakamana, a sacred Hindu temple, can be seen during an ideal Trishuli rafting. One can enjoy the diverse topography, wide varieties of floras and faunas, and the peaceful environment while moving forward with the exciting rapids of Trishuli River.
Trishuli River Rafting Itinerary
Day 01: We meet at 6.15 at our office. Once we have everyone collected we have a short walk until our bus. The bus ride takes us our of the Kathmandu valley thought the scenic view of mountain and rice fields. After two hours we reach in the village of Baireni on the bank of the Trisuli River. When we reach in starting point we prepare everything and give you everyone life jacket, helmet , paddle. Then the trip leader and safety KAYAKER given you information about river safety, paddling technique and another safety method. Then we start the rafting trip.
Day 02: In the morning at around 8.30 am very one packs their gear and come to breakfast. After breakfast our guide and safety KAYAKER give you another paddle session to refresh every one's memory. This is probably just as well as today we have another four and half hours on the water and we get to run the main canyon section of the Trisuli. In this day you can run main rapids, like Ladies Delight, Upset and Surprise which is most exciting and challenging. Depending on the time we stop to have a lunch. After lunch continue until finishing point Gaighat. From here it's a four hours bus drive back to Kathmandu, two hours to pokhara and one hour drive to Chitwan for Wildlife Safari.
