Nar was a great knowledgeable and attentive guide during my Everest Base Camp hike who stood by me the whole hike. He took care of my needs and pushed me on when I needed the encouragement. He briefs me about the next day’s hike to make me mentally prepared for the next day and he checks on my wellbeing.He took care of me when I had AMS at 4330m at Dingboche and had to be helicoptered off to Kathmandu and he stayed by my side at the hospital. He arranged for the helicopter and ambulance.He is more than a guide to me. He is like a brother and I will come back for more adventures with Nar. I strongly recommend Nar to anyone keen to hike in the Himalayas.

I was there from 2th april till 14 of april 2023.From the moment of arrival the pick up bij Nar (owner of Narba trekking) at the airport of Kathmandu till the end the 14 days trekking was well and great organised.Next to the great contact with Nar also the guide Rabin and Porter Prashant where the best choice ever. We had so much fun together. Next to that they were really helpful and had a perfect speed. Rabin and and Prashant helped me there were was necessary! The trekking was beautiful set up from beginning till the end.So Narba trekking is absolute a great company with lot of experience.And when you book there ask for the combination Rabin and Prashant! I trekked with Narba Treks in both 2013 and 2022, in the former as part of a group of seven, in the latter trip as part of a group of four. On the latter trip I chose Narba again because of the very positive experience I had in the first trip.Nar, the owner of Narba Treks, himself is a very friendly, very warm, very approachable and very helpful person. The moment I met him the first time, I felt completely at ease in his company. I really enjoyed his positivity, and his eagerness to ensure that our group was satisfied with our experience on the trip. Nar is a very interesting and well-travelled person, he is also very knowledgeable about his country, the land and the mountains. He was always able to explain in clear terms and in an interesting manner, questions we asked about Nepal and the Nepalese culture; the mountains; the flora and fauna. The guesthouses we stayed in and other arrangements (pre and post the trek) were very well selected to ensure our utmost comfort and satisfaction. Nar went – as I very much believe – above and beyond the normal customaries to ensure that we were always well taken care of. Because of all of this, both trips were amazing; amazing journeys, with amazing pictures and amazing memories.As well as his personality, Nar is an extremely organised person, and this is reflected in how he runs his business. The communication before the trips were excellent. As a first step, we were provided with an adequate information pack that allowed us to pack and prepare accordingly. The itinerary was well outlined within the pack. Outside of the information pack, Nar was always on hand to answer additional and specific questions. Our requests and queries were answered clearly and without delay. Nar facilitated a lot of arrangements for us outside of the schedule, that we really appreciated, clearly explaining the options available, and their consequence in terms of the trip schedule or cost. All in all, I highly recommend Narba Treks to all who are considering visiting Nepal and trekking: you will not regret your choice. You will be left with memories from an amazing trip that will last you a lifetime, as well as a true friend who you will no doubt make it your point to visit again!

Nar provided all round (and excellent) service and advice from the arrival right up to the departure.He has an easy going way to him but gets his message across every time.

Nar was an excellent guide and companion for our trek to the Annapurna base camp . We were looked after and felt we were with someone that really cared about his customers and also about the Places and people we were encountering during our journey.

Narba Treks organized a fantastic 17-day expedition completing the Annapurna circuit for my honeymoon. We were very well taken care of. The itinerary was suited to our preferences and requirements and Nar and staff (guide and porter) all super friendly kind and knowledgeable. My two friends & I enjoyed 2 great treks with NARBA Treks & Expeditions. NAR was our professional guide for the first trek which included: a visit to a monastery in Tyngboche; then on to Dingboche & Chhukung Valley; a panoramic view of Mount Everest on an observation deck. The last community on this first section was Gorakshep. We then returned to our departure point Lukla. Lodgings & food we’re provided in comfortable tea houses. The second part of our trek took us to Mera Peak. NAR had hired porters for this expedition as we needed more equipment for this more physically demanding trek.Nar was always most gracious keenly aware of our health, safety and well being. Although I was born & raised in the Canadian prairies with no previous experience in mountain trekking this exciting adventure was a thrill of a lifetime. I would highly recommend NARBA TREKS & EXPEDITIONS to anyone who seeks to travel in a beautiful & wondrous setting. I would also add that Nepal’s capital, Kathmandu is well worth visiting. Nar was our guide & we were treated to many outstanding highlights that this culturally rich city has to offer.
