Everest Panorama Trekking

Mount Everest view trekking also known as Everest Panorama trekking not only for its proximity to the world’s highest mountain, but also for its friendly Sherpa people. The Everest View trek or Panorama trek is a shorter trek than the Base Camp trek with the famous Tengpoche monastery at 3870m being the high point.

It is designed for those who wish to experience this region without ascending to high altitude. Entry to the Khumbu is by air into the airstrip at Lukla, and from here we follow the route of the Base Camp trek to Tengpoche monastery. From here we obtain breathtaking views of Everest as it rises above the Lhotse-Nuptse ridge, as well as a superb view of one of Nepal’s most beautiful mountains, Ama Dablam – the ‘Matterhorn of the Khumbu’.

Day 02: Fly from Kathmandu to Lukla and then trek to Phakding (2640m)

We fly on a twin-engine Otter to the Himalayan foothills where we will begin our trek into the Khumbu region. The views from the plane are amazing, providing dramatic views of terraced hills and the distant Himalayan giants.

After arriving in the village of Lukla (2,750 m), we will introduce of our staff (porters) and trek for about two and a half hours to Phakding, phakding is situated river side 2600m.

Day 03: Trek from Phakding to Namche Bazaar (3440m): 5 hours

The distance between Phakding and Namche Bazaar is not that far, however, the high altitude can make this trek difficult. The best strategy is to trek at a slow and gentle pace. Namche Bazzaar is a large town surrounded by two great valleys, Dudh Kosi and Bhote Kosi. It is also the gateway to Mount Everest.  There are well-stocked markets and shops giving you one last chance to buy anything that you may have forgotten.

Day 04: Acclimatisation day in Namche Bazaar (3440m)

Today is a rest and acclimatization day in Namche Bazaar. Namche is a colorful village with many wonderful and interesting shops and vendors, fabulous food, and stunning views of the surrounding mountains. An early hike above town, before the clouds move in, will reward climbers with a spectacular Himalayan sunrise and views of Mt. Everest, Lhotse (the 4th highest peak in the world), and the beautiful Ama Dablam. Some clients want to visit Everest view hotel, where from you can see panoramic views of Himalayas including Amadablam, Tawache peak, Thamserku, peak 38, Mt. Everest etc.

Day 05: Trek from Namche to Tengboche (3860m): 5 hours

On the trek to Tengboche, we will experience our first great views of the Everest, Lhoste, Nuptse, and Ama Dablam peaks. The trail has a steep descent towards a bridge over the Dudh Kosi. Then we climb up a zigzagging path through rhododendron bushes. There are some superb mountain sceneries towards Tengpoche, which is famous for its legendary monastery - the largest in the Everest Region.

Day 06:Trek from Tengboche to  Namche Bazar(3,440 m)

Today we trek back along the Dudh Kosi River through a magnificent rhododendron forest and past brilliant waterfalls. Shortly before reaching Namche, the trek takes us through a pine forest, where musk deer often graze in the early morning. Arriving in town, we may see lowland porters, highland Sherpas, and Tibetan people trading food and supplies during Namche's market time.

Day 07:Trek from Namche Bazar to Lukla spend overnight

Day 08: Fly back to Kathmandu from Lukla
